The fifth edition of the National local league, organized by the Qatar Volleyball Association, kicked off yesterday at the “QVA” Hall and will conclude on January 18th.
Nine teams will participate in this edition, which were divided into two groups. The first group included: Al Sadd, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Rayyan and Al Ahli, while the second group included: Al Khor, Qatar, Al Wakra and Al Gharafa.
The first match witnessed Al-Arabi’s victory over Al-Ahly in three clean sets, 25-14, 25-17, 25-18, and in the second match, Al-Shamal defeated Al-Rayyan (3-0), 25-16, 25-16 and 25-10.
