The Qatari (A) team claimed the title of the  2015 Arab Beach Volleyball Championship after beating Bahrain (A) team 21-12 19-21 15-11 in the final match held on Friday.

Khalid Al Mawlawi, President of the Qatar Volleyball Association congratulated HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee on the achievement accomplished by the Qatari volleyball team.

Earlier in the semifinals, Qatar (A) defeated Bahrain (B) team 21-17 21-16 while Bahrain (A) team outclassed Oman (B) team 21-18 19-21 15-12.

The event featured the participation of 17 teams representing 9 countries including, Qatar, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, Morocco, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Hosts Jordan.
