The national volleyball team will be under of 23 age in Group 3 of the Asian Championships, which will be hosted by Myanmar from August 03 to 11, alongside China, Taipei, Pakistan and Bahrain.

Thailand, China, India and New Zealand were also in Group A with Japan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.

Qatar team qualified for the Asian Cup finals after finishing third in the qualifiers in West Asia with 9 points behind the Saudi team, which came second, while Bahrain lead the standings with 13 points in the recent qualifiers in Bahrain and concluded last Thursday.
