The 20th Asian Volleyball Championship will kick off in Tehran on Friday and will run until the 21st of Sept.

Our national team plays in Group A along with hosts Iran, Australia and Sri Lanka.

Our national team begins their participation in the tournament against the Australian team at 12 noon Doha time (1:30 Tehran time)

Qatar team is keen to achieve a strong start and win over Australia today, in order to gain more confidence and moral motivation and strengthen his hopes to compete strongly for the title of the tournament, especially as the Australian team is one of the strongest teams of the continent.

The team is headed by Yacoub Al-Adasani, ,along with Argentine coach Camilo Soto, and his assistants are technical assistant coach Valentin Rolandli, fitness coach Carlos German, statistician Cornel Olaf, physiotherapist Abdul Hafiz Asmaoui, in addition to 14 players, namely: Mubarak Dahi, Ahmed Jamal, Ibrahim Said, Bilal Abunbout, Othman Abdel Wahed, Nader Abu Bakr, Mahmoud Essam, Renan, Khaled Shamia, Mahdi Badreddine, Milosh, Sultan Abdullah, Sami Mahmoud, Suleiman Saeed, Naji Mahmoud.
