Fifteen national federations, along with the host country (China), will participate in the beach volleyball qualifiers for the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Qatar (1), consisting of duo Charif Younis and Ahmed Tejan, will be among the teams participating in the qualifiers to be held during September 18-22 in Haiyang City with 16 men’s and women’s teams.
The list of participating teams alongside the organized country included 15 teams according to the latest international rankings: Norway, Russia, Poland, Qatar, the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Spain, Latvia, America, Czech Republic, Chile, Canada and Australia.These teams are ranked from 1st to 15th place according to the latest classification issued by the International Federation.
Tokyo Olympics will qualify for 24 teams through qualifying to be divided into four groups.
