Yousef Ahmed Kano, Secretary General of Qatar Volleyball Association and a member of the Organizing Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced the return of Gulf Volleyball competitions from next year 2020, after stopping during 2018 and 2019.Kano added that Kuwait will host the first tournament, the Club Championship in its 37th edition. Kano pointed out that the club championship will be held with the participation of only six clubs as of the next version after the adoption of amendments to the list of competitions for competitions of volleyball in the halls after the meeting of the Organizing Committee of Volleyball in the Gulf Cooperation Council held yesterday in Kuwait and approved the participation Six clubs in the league system of one role to identify the champion beside naming the 37th Gulf Championship of Champions Clubs hosted by Kuwait next March as the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The dates of the tournaments were also approved next year, namely Kuwait hosting three Gulf tournaments starting from the 37th Gulf Club Championship.

Mr.Kano added that the tournaments that were also adopted were the 10th Gulf Men’s Team Championship scheduled for late October 2020, as well as the 17th Gulf Men’s Beach Volleyball Team Championship scheduled for November 2020.Oman has also been approved to host the Gulf Youth Championship from 9 to 18. August 2020 along with the creation of the junior national team championship to be synchronized with the men’s national championships.
