The GCC Festival for Under-15 players, hosted by the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) at its training hall last month, proved a big hit.
Apart from the host nation, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia participated in the festival, aimed at creating an interest for the sport among youngsters and create a talent pool for the future.
QVA General Secretary Mohammed Ali Al Mohannadi honoured the players with mementoes and certificates.
A Technical Committee meeting, held on the sidelines of the festival, reviewed the progress of the players who figured in the event last year.
