The Asian volleyball Federation (AVC) has released the AVC U-23 National Team Championship Schedule, which will be hosted by Myanmar from August 03 to 11, and Qatar will play in Group C alongside China, Taipei, Pakistan and Bahrain.

Qatar will start their campaign against Pakistan on August 3 and then play their second match on the fourth of the month against China Taipei and conclude their matches in the first round (group) on the fifth meeting with the Bahrain team.

The Qatari team qualified for the Asian Cup finals after finishing third in the qualifiers in West Asia with 9 points behind the Saudi team, which came second, while Bahrain topped the standings with 13 points in the recent qualifiers in Bahrain and ended on the last five.
