The Asian Volleyball Confederation has chosen three Qatari members to join the Federation’s committees, following the forty-third meeting of the Confederation’s Board of Directors, which was held today through Video conference , in the presence of Mr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Kuwari, President of the Qatari and West Asian Federations and Vice President of the AVC.
Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Namah was chosen as a member of the AVC Referees Committee, Mr. Mohammad Salem Al Kuwari was a member of the Beach Volleyball Committee, and Mr. Khaled Mohamed Al Kaabi was a member of the Sports Events Committee.
During the meeting chaired by Mrs. Rita Subowo, the AVC President , many important issues related to the current situation of the volleyball game, the impact of the Corona pandemic / Covid-19 / on organizing competitions and how to prepare for the Federation’s work in the coming period of the new council’s four-year life, were discussed.
