The Volleyball Organizing Committee of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf has approved the agenda of the tournaments for year 2022.
This came during the meeting, which was held with the participation of Mr. Youssef Ahmed Kanou, QVA -Secretary General and a member of the Organizing Committee via Visual Call.
The committee approved the organization of the volleyball competition in the Gulf Sports Games, which will be held in Kuwait from 9 to 18 January, while the Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 38th Gulf Club Championship from 4 to 13 March, and Saudi Arabia will host the sixth championship for youth teams in July 2022 in the event of obtaining Based on official approvals, the Sultanate of Oman will host the seventeenth beach tournament for men and the first for juniors, at their request, after Kuwait apologized for hosting it.
The meeting also approved the minutes of the previous meeting, and reviewed the reports of the previous tournaments, which is the third Junior Festival organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from August 19 to 23, and the sixth championship for the junior teams’ championships, which was held in Bahrain from August 22 to August 31, and arbitration committees were formed for the various upcoming tournaments. Approval of the new members of the Organizing Committee and the new members of the Referees and Candidates Committee from the national federations.
During the meeting, the draw for the 38th Gulf Club Championship, which will be held in Bahrain, with the participation of the Qatari Police Club.
