Under the theme “ Sport and Integrity” the volleyball qualification stage for all learning stages at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program 2013-2014 were concluded as qualified teams are preparing for the final stage to be held on March 21 at the Aspire Dome.
Students from different learning stages (Elementary, intermediate and secondary) showed high technical level in the volleyball game during the preliminary stages.
At elementary schools level , Al Wafa school will shake hands with Al Shamal in the volleyball final clash, likewise at intermediate level, Ali bin Abi Taleb will lock horns against Indian counterparts.
At the Secondary schools level, Abdullah Al-Misnad School will take on Indian counterpart in volleyball final clash.
SOP is an annual School sport events jointly organized by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) , Supreme Education Council (SEC), Qatar School Sport Federation and Qatar Paralympics Committee along with this year partners, International Centre of Sport Security (ICSS), the Qatar Anti-Doping Laboratory, the Qatar Anti-Doping Committee, and the Ministry of Interior and Maersk Company (Event official sponsor for three consecutive years).
