Qatar Beach Volleyball team confidently booked a seat in the last sixteen round of the prestigious FIVB World Tour Kish Island Open after defeating hosts 2-1 in Iran on Wednesday.
Qatar’s duo, Jefferson Perreira and Cherif Younnosse sparkled to record a deserving 2-1 victory over Iranian counterparts to reach the 16th round of the event directly.
The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour was opened in the island of Kish, Iran, on February 15 and will wrap up on February 19, 2016.
Some of the countries participating in the competitions consist of Austria (4 teams), Canada (2 teams), China (3 teams), Germany (2 teams), Iran (8 teams), Italy (2 teams), Norway (6 teams), Poland (4 teams ), Qatar (2 teams), Russia ( 2 teams), and Turkey ( 3 teams).
