Qatar Junior volleyball team qualified to the semifinals of the prestigious Arab Junior Volleyball Championship after beating their Bahraini counterparts 3-0 in the second round  on Wednesday.

In the semifinals to be staged on Thursday, Qatar will clash against Algeria. Earlier on Wednesday, Algeria defeated KSA 3-0.

Khalid Ali Al-Mawlawi, President of the Qatar volleyball association was delighted by the strong performance of the Qatari team and wished them all success in the semifinals.

The Qatari squad includes; Ammar Sokolar, Sultan Hussain Abdullah, Majed Abdulrashid Nouh, Raouf Mousa, Pape Majeet, Turkey Al Majed, Mubarak Jalal, Mohammad Al Naimi, Mohammad Abdulrahman Ali, Mohammad Al Muraikhi, Ahmad Al Mohammad and Khalifa Al Sheiba.
