The police volleyball team leaves Doha today on its way to Kuwait to participate in the 37th edition of the Gulf Volleyball Clubs Championship, which will be held from February 2 to 11 this month with the participation of 6 Gulf clubs, the AlHelal Saudi Arabia. Al Aein Emirates, Dar Kulaib, Bahrain, Al Seib(Oman), and Kuwait, Kuwait, & police team.
The police mission includes Adnan Al-Hitmi, head of the volleyball apparatus as head of the mission, Rashid Mahmoud Al-Abdullah, team manager, and Mohamed Adam, the team’s administrator, and members of the technical staff of the team led by Argentine Damien Aridondo, in addition to the players: “Joseph Porslav, Salami Moses, Mahmoud Essam, John Shigbo, Muhammad Ismail, Jojo Nito, Naji Mahmoud, Nader Abu Bakr, Youssef Aghlaf, Danes Al-Maslamani, Muhammad Ismail Abdullah, Wollner Enrique and Othman Abdul Wahid ».
The police team used the services of Qatar club player Youssef Aghlaf as a Gulf player.
The police team is scheduled to play its first games against Bahraini Dar Kulaib (the defending champions), at five in the evening next Tuesday. The next day, the Kuwaiti Kuwait team (the host of the championship) will face at 7 pm on Wednesday (5 February), and all the teams will get a negative comfort. Next Thursday, the police team will resume their matches by meeting Al-Ain Al-Emiri in the third Friday afternoon, then playing against the Omani Al-Seeb at five in the evening Saturday (8th August).
