The Board of Directors of the Qatar Volleyball Federation, headed by Mr.Ali bin Ghanim Al-Kuwari, held a meeting at the QVA, in the presence of Mr. Yousef Kano, Secretary-General, Mr. Saeed Salem Al-Jamaani, Assistant Secretary, Mr. Mubarak Eid Al-Abdullah, Mr. Mohammad Salem Al-Kuwari, members of the Board of Directors, and Mr.Hussein Imam, Technical expert of the QVA.

The meeting witnessed the adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting and discussion of the positives and negatives of the sports season ending 2020-2021, as well as the discussion of the calendar for the next sports season, the review of suggestions and ideas put forward by the clubs, and the most prominent observations and difficulties facing them, in the wake of the emerging Corona virus pandemic crisis.

The QVA President expressed his happiness to meet with the members of the Board of Directors afterend of the sports season, which witnessed the crowning of the Police team with Senior men`s League title, Al-Ahli team with the title of the Qatar Cup, and Al Rayyan team with the title of the Amir cup, stressing that the requests presented will be studied to come out with the best possible decisions. To contribute to the development of volleyball competitions in the coming seasons.

He stressed that the new season will witness a great challenge for the national teams, as the beach team continues its preparations to participate in the Tokyo Olympics next summer, as well as the connections of national teams of all ages with external participations, in addition to the participation of our clubs in tournaments at the continental and regional levels.
