Al Arabi prevail over Al Rayyan to set up Amir Cup volleyball final clash with Police SC
In what a roller-coaster best of three semi-finals, Al Arabi rallied throughout to get the better of Al Rayyan and set up a final clash with Police SC in the Amir Cup volleyball at the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) Hall in Al Gharafa on Wednesday. Al Arabi clinched the deciding match winning 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11). Earlier on Monday, Al Arabi had bounce back to level the semi-finals 1-1. In the decider, Al Arabi rode on the brilliance of Ribeiro Renan (26 points), Finger Michal (25), Ibrahim Moha (25), and Ibrahim Ahmed Bassam (16). For Al Rayyan, Abo Naboot Belal Nabi (25) and Costa Marcus Vinicius (20) contributed majorly. The final between Police SC and Al Arabi SC will be played on Saturday (Oct 31) at 6pm.
