Al-Ahli team won the Qatar Volleyball Cup for the current season 2020-2021, after its victory over the Police team with a score of 1/3 after a strong match from both sides in which the Police team advanced in the first half, but Al-Ahli returned and managed to end the meeting in his favor and crowned the title by Lines (22-25, 24-26, 20-25, 19-25), during the meeting that brought the two teams together yesterday evening, without a public presence at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall, in order to limit the spread of the new Corona virus pandemic «Covid-19» ».. The meeting was moderated by a referee team consisting of Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, a second referee, Nasser Al-Muzaffar, the referee’s observer, Hassan Najm, and the match observer, Dr. Hashem Al-Rawi.
After the match, Mr. Ali bin Ghanim Al-Kuwari, President of the Qatar and West Asian Volleyball Federations, Yousef Ahmed Kano, QVA – Secretary General, and Mohammed Salem Al-Kuwari, QVA – member of the Board of Directors, crowned Al-AhlI’s “champion” team with the championship cup and gold medals in addition to a prize of 300,000 Qatari riyals As for the runner-up, the Police team won silver medals and a prize of 200,000 Qatari riyals.
