The Qatari beach volleyball team (1), consisting of Ahmed Tijan and Cherif Younousse, qualified for the final match of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou after defeating Kazakhstan (1) by scoring (21-9 and 21-19).

With this victory, the Qatari beach volleyball team secured winning either the gold or silver medals.

The Qatari team will face China in the final match on Thursday.
