The Qatari volleyball team will participate in the qualifications for the 2018 World Volleyball Championship to be staged in Tehran, Iran on August 10-14, 2017.
Qatar will play in a group including South Korea, China, Kazakhstan and Hosts Iran.
The qualifications will be held in one-round league format with winners and the runners-up will qualify to the finals to be staged in Italy and Bulgaria in 2018.
The Qatari team will begin their campaign in the qualifications with a match against South Korea on August 10.
