The GCC Volleyball Organizing Committee has decided to postpone the Youth Team Championship until 2022 after it was scheduled to be held at the end of next July in Bahrain due to the (Covid-19) pandemic .
This came during the meeting of the Organizing Committee No. (79), which was held via video conferencing chaired by Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Volleyball Organizing Committee, with the participation of Qatar Volleyball Association Secretary-General Yousef Ahmed Kanoo, who is also member of the Organizing Committee, and in the presence of all members from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries .The Organizing Committee also decided to hold the beach championship next October in the State of Kuwait.
It was also decided to cancel the Junior Beach Championship.
The Organizing Committee also decided to postpone the Gulf Games Championship, which was scheduled for April in Kuwait, until December 2020, pending confirmation of a specified date by the host country, Kuwait.
