The “QVA” Competitions Committee, during its meeting today at the Association headquarters, headed by Youssef Ahmed Kano Secretary General, and in the presence of the members, Saeed Salem Al Jamaani, Mubarak Eid Al Abdullah, Ibrahim Mohammed Al Nama and Hussein Imam Ali, QVA Technical Expert , made an amendment to the schedule of the qualifying competitions to the main roles of the Amir Volleyball Cup for the current season .
According to the amendment, the matches that were scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, that gathered AL Shamal vs Al Khor, and Al-Sadd vs Al-Gharafa, were postponed to be played on Friday at the QVA Hall where all the tournament matches are held, provided that the matches of this stage will be concluded next Sunday, as previously announced. .
This stage of the qualifiers will witness the participation of the teams ranked fifth to the tenth in the Senior men's league competition, and will play in the group system, where the first group includes Al-Sadd, Al-Gharafa and Al-Rayyan teams, while the second group will include Al-Shamal, Al-Wakrah and Al-Khor teams.
The first and second of each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, which will be held from 25 March to 7 April next, in addition to the first four teams in the senior men's league competition, namely: Police, Al-Ahli, Al-Arabi and Qatar.
