Al- Rayyan Volleyball team led the completions of the 35th GCC Volleyball Championship for clubs after yesterday’s winning against the Saudi’s Al Ahli 3-0 in the match held at Sahar Sport Complex in Oman.
Al Rayyan dominated the first half and did not find any difficulty to win 25-12. In the second half, the Saudi side played well and was a strong rival for Al Rayyan. This half saw a tie at 24, so the time was extended. Then Al-Rayyan won its rival and won 25-20.
With this win the balance of Al Rayyan reached 9 points and went away with the lead.
It is worthy to mention that Al Rayyan won its first match against the Emirates Bani Yas 3-0.
Al Arabi is also taking part in this event and they’re so far with 2-0 winning streak.
