Al Rayyan held their nerves to defeat Al Rayyan 25-23 25-23 22-25 25-10 at the indoor hall of Al Arabi Sports Club.
On the other hand, hosts Al Arabi edged out Qatar SC in straight sets on Wednesday. Al Arabi showed a strong performance throughout the match to thrash Qatar SC 25-15 25-13 25-21.
The victory brought the points’ tally of Al Arab to 44 in the second place behind leaders Police.
