Under the patronage of the Qatar Olympic Committee, the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) will organize the 2015 Ramadan Volleyball Championship for the amateur players who are not registered at the sport clubs or any organization affiliated to the QVA.
The event will be staged at Al Gharafa Sport Club from June 27 to July 03.
According to organizers, valuable awards are allocated for the top winners, where the first place winners will get QR 70.000, runners-up will receive QR 50.000, third place winners will clinch QR 30.000 and the fourth place winners will get QR 20.000.
The QVA President Khalid Ali Al-Mawlawi said that the tournament aims to boost the interaction with local community and widen the base of volleyball players in the state of Qatar.
