The qualifying rounds for the 43rd edition of the Amir Volleyball Cup for the 2020/2021 sports season will start tomorrow, Monday, until March 21.

The qualifiers will see the participation of the teams ranked fifth to the tenth in the Senior men`s league competition.

The qualifying draw resulted in Al Sadd, Al Gharafah and Al Rayyan teams falling into Group A, while Group B included Al Shamal, Al Wakra and Al Khor teams.

All matches are held at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall without Fans public attendance.

The first and second of each group will qualify for the quarter-final round competitions that will be held during the period from March 25 to next April 7, in addition to the first four teams in the Senior men`s league competition, which are Al-Police, Al-Ahli, Al-Arabi and Qatar.

It is noteworthy that Al-Arabi is the holder of the title of the last 42nd edition after its victory over Police by three games to two.

The Competitions Committee also announced that the His Highness of Amir volleyball cup will be held on March 22nd in the QVA meeting hall, taking into account the precautionary measures.
