Al-Gharafa and Al-Khor teams defeated Al-Shamal and Al-Sadd in the first phase matches of the qualifying matches for the Amir Volleyball Cup for the 2019-2020 sports season, which will be held at the QVA hall and will continue until the 30th October.
Al-Gharafa team succeeded in overcoming the Al-Shamal hurdle with three rounds without responding with results (25-12, 25-18 , 25-11) during the confrontation that took place between them yesterday in the opening of the first group matches (A), while Al Khor managed to beat Al Sadd with a score of three. Laps for a set (25-22, 17-25, 25-15, 25-23) in the second group matches (B).
Al-Shamal will face Al-Wakrah in its next match on Saturday, while Al-Sadd will meet Qatar.
