Police proved too strong for hosts Kuwait Sporting Club in the Gulf Clubs Volleyball Championship and won in straight sets in Kuwait City on Wednesday. There was some resistance for the winners from the Kuwaiti team but Police went on to record a 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 victory. In other matches, holders Dar Kulaib (Bahrain) beat Al Seed from Oman 3-0 and Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia) also won 3-0 agisnt Al Ain (UAE). After a day’s rest on Thursday, Police will take on Al Ain in their third match.
