The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) World Beach Games Qatar 2019 has announced that the public can enter the stadiums and attend the games for free.
Qatar Olympic Committee Director of Marketing and Communications Sheikha Asma al Thani said that it’s a pleasure to give everyone the opportunity to participate in one way or another and expressed joy in announcing that attendance of this historic edition will be free.
She added that the Qatar 2019 World Beach Games is an extraordinary event, being held for the first time in the history of beach sports, and the sports atmosphere is suitable for the whole family. She expressed hopes that the crowd will come in large numbers to encourage their teams and enjoy the competitions.
The games will be held from October 12 to 16.
About 1,300 athletes from 97 countries in all five continents will compete in 14 competitions in four locations: the Katara Cultural Village, Aspire Zone, Al Gharafa Stadium and the Ritz-Carlton Doha’s Leqtaifiya Lagoon.
