Our first national men’s volleyball team continues its daily training on two morning and evening sessions at the QVA Hall, in preparation for the 20th Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, to be held in Tehran, Iran, from September 13 to 21.
Our first national men’s volleyball team is scheduled to participate in a joint training camp with the teams of India, China and Australia during the period from 3 to 9 September, in the lounge of the QVA Hall.
The Indian team arrived in Doha at dawn last Friday, while the mission of the teams of China and Australia next Wednesday.
The first training is led by Argentine coach Camilo Soto, who chose 15 players to participate in the Asian Championship, namely: Mubarak Dahi, Ahmed Jamal, Ibrahim Saeed, Bilal Abunbout, Othman Abdel Wahed, Nader Abu Bakr, Mahmoud Essam, Renan, Khaled Shamia, Mahdi Badreddine, Milos, Sultan Abdullah, Sami Mahmoud, Suleiman Saeed, Naji Mahmoud, and the technical staff includes assistant coach Valentine Rolandli, fitness coach Carlos German, Cornell Olaf specialist, and physiotherapist Abdul Hafeez Asmaawi.

It will be the first match of Qatar team in the Asian Championship against Australia on 13th, and play their second match in Group A against the host and host Iran on 14th, and concludes its group matches with the meeting of Sri Lanka 15 September.
